I have worked in architecture and construction since 2002, at Daly Genik Architects, Fritz Haeg Studio, and Morley Construction, and am a licensed architect in the state of California. I started working with flowers a few years ago, beginning with small weddings and pop-up shops. I have a Bachelor of Architecture from Cooper Union in New York and a Master of Building Construction from Auburn University’s Design-Build Master’s Program, which grew out of the Rural Studio. My design work has appeared in Metropolis, Clear, Azure, Mocoloco.com, and Design Within Reach's "Design Notes." I have written on art, design, and culture for Metropolis, Index, SOMA, Angeleno, L.A. Architect, Frame, Thresholds, Sundown Salon, and MOMA P.S.1's Special Projects Writers Series. I live and work in Santa Monica, over the hill from where I grew up in the San Fernando Valley.
